- • Coordinate and maintain provider schedules for video consultations, ensuring efficient appointment booking and minimizing scheduling conflicts across telehealth platforms.
- • Monitor upcoming telehealth appointments, confirm patient and provider availability, and proactively troubleshoot technical issues to ensure uninterrupted virtual visits.
- • Liaise with laboratory partners to manage test orders, track lab result timelines, and ensure timely communication of outcomes to both patients and clinical providers.
- • Collaborate with pharmacy partners to facilitate prescription orders, process refills, and respond to medication-related inquiries from patients in a timely manner.
- • Oversee and triage patient messaging queues across digital platforms, directing inquiries to the appropriate clinical team member and escalating urgent or complex cases as needed.
- • Provide empathetic, patient-centered support by answering questions related to appointments, lab tests, prescriptions, follow-up care, and telehealth platform usage.
- • Educate patients on navigating telehealth tools, including step-by-step guidance on joining video visits, using platform features, and resolving common technical difficulties.
- • Maintain accurate, up-to-date electronic health records (EHR) with strict adherence to data integrity standards and confidentiality protocols.
- • Ensure compliance with HIPAA and all applicable healthcare privacy regulations in all patient interactions and recordkeeping activities.
- • Participate in team meetings to review patient feedback, identify recurring operational challenges, and propose workflow improvements to enhance the patient journey.
- • Identify opportunities to streamline administrative processes, reduce patient wait times, and increase satisfaction through proactive service enhancements.
- • Serve as a key point of contact between patients, providers, labs, and pharmacies, ensuring seamless coordination across the end-to-end care experience.
- • Document patient interactions and follow-up actions accurately within digital systems to support continuity of care and quality assurance.
- • Maintain a high standard of professionalism and empathy in all communications, reflecting Maximus’s mission-driven commitment to wellness and personalized healthcare.
- • Contribute to quality assurance initiatives by adhering to company policies, participating in compliance training, and upholding data security best practices.
🎯 Requirements
- • 1–3 years of experience in a care coordinator, healthcare administration, or telehealth support role
- • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, or a related field preferred
- • Familiarity with EHR systems, telehealth platforms, and scheduling software
- • Understanding of HIPAA and healthcare data privacy regulations
- • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for coordinating with patients, providers, and partners
- • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced digital environment
