- • Become a part of our caring community as a CarePlus Medicare Call Center Representative 2, where you will represent Humana by addressing incoming telephone, digital, or written inquiries from Medicare members, striving to provide resolution or a pathway to resolution on each call while delivering a perfect call experience.
- • Day to day, you will handle 20 to 35 inbound calls daily from Medicare members, with 60% to 70% requiring outbound calls to physicians, DME vendors, pharmacies, or other entities to assist members; accurately record details of inquiries, comments, complaints, transactions, or interactions; escalate unresolved customer grievances; and work under minimal direction within defined parameters while exercising independent discretion and prioritization.
- • You will join Humana Inc., a leading U.S. healthcare company dedicated to making it easier for millions of people to achieve their best health through Humana insurance services and CenterWell healthcare services, serving Medicare and Medicaid members, families, individuals, military personnel, and communities.
- • In this role, you will develop strong emotional intelligence, bilingual communication skills, and expertise in Medicare benefits and healthcare systems; gain experience in high-volume call center operations, case management, and multi-system navigation; and build a foundation for long-term growth within Humana, with the opportunity to apply for other internal roles after twelve months of service.
🎯 Requirements
- • Must currently live in the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico
- • Fully bilingual in English and Spanish with ability to speak, read, and write in both languages without limitations
- • 1+ years of customer service experience
- • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Outlook and Teams
- • Ability to manage multiple or competing priorities using multiple computer applications/systems simultaneously
- • Associate or Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
