- • As a Case Manager at Public Interest Co., you will play a critical role in driving financial recovery for healthcare organizations by managing end-to-end recovery cases that identify and reclaim funds owed by third-party payers, directly impacting clients’ ability to reinvest in care delivery.
- • You will own a portfolio of recovery cases from intake to resolution, using AI-powered legal tech tools to validate claims, navigate complex insurance systems, and negotiate outcomes with payers—ensuring accuracy, compliance, and maximum recovery without adding administrative burden to healthcare providers.
- • Day to day, you will manage a dynamic portfolio of recovery cases, tracking each stage from initial identification through documentation, payer outreach, negotiation, and final resolution, ensuring timely progression and adherence to internal workflows.
- • You will leverage internal data platforms and analytics tools to identify high-value recovery opportunities, spotting patterns in claim denials, payment discrepancies, and liability patterns that others might overlook.
- • You will communicate professionally and persistently with insurance carriers, third-party administrators, and legal entities to validate coverage, submit documentation, and negotiate settlements or recoveries.
- • You will maintain meticulous case records in our system, ensuring data integrity, audit readiness, and seamless handoffs between teams, while flagging anomalies or documentation gaps for review.
- • You will collaborate closely with Legal and Operations teams on complex, escalated, or novel cases, providing factual summaries, timelines, and evidence to support legal strategies or process refinements.
- • You will actively identify bottlenecks, redundant steps, or inefficiencies in current workflows and propose data-driven improvements to enhance scalability, accuracy, and team throughput.
- • You will continuously learn and adapt to new tools, systems, and regulatory nuances in healthcare reimbursement, becoming a trusted operator who bridges operations, data, and legal domains.
- • The Public Interest Company is a mission-driven technology firm transforming healthcare financial integrity by combining AI, legal expertise, and workflow automation to recover billions in misallocated funds—helping health plans, provider groups, and self-funded employers reclaim revenue that rightfully belongs to patient care.

- • In this role, you will develop rare cross-functional fluency in healthcare operations, data analytics, insurance adjudication, and legal workflows—skills that are highly transferable and increasingly valuable in health tech, fintech, and compliance-driven industries.
- • You will gain accelerated professional growth by owning outcomes from day one, solving ambiguous problems, and contributing to process innovation—building a foundation for advancement into senior operations, analytics, or legal operations roles.
