  • • As the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) for MedTech at Hippocratic AI, you will be the pivotal force driving our expansion into the critical medical device, equipment, and diagnostics sectors. This is a unique opportunity to architect and execute the commercial strategy for a groundbreaking generative AI company poised to revolutionize patient care and clinical support within the MedTech industry.
  • • You will be instrumental in transforming high-level access, cultivated through an elite and established network of C-suite relationships, into substantial eight-figure enterprise platform deals. Your mission is to position Hippocratic AI's advanced generative AI solutions as the undisputed industry standard for patient engagement and clinical support, fundamentally reshaping how MedTech companies interact with patients and healthcare providers.
  • • Reporting directly to the President of Life Sciences, you will not only personally lead complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles but also take on the significant challenge of building and scaling a world-class MedTech sales organization from its foundational stages.
  • • Your core responsibility will be to own the MedTech revenue target, meticulously scaling the commercial engine to achieve and exceed ambitious goals. This encompasses developing robust account strategies, cultivating a healthy pipeline, executing complex deals with precision, and providing accurate forecasting.
  • • You will spearhead enterprise sales engagements with the world's largest MedTech organizations, navigating intricate multi-stakeholder deal cycles. This involves engaging with a diverse group of decision-makers across commercial, clinical, regulatory, IT, procurement, and C-suite levels, ensuring alignment and buy-in.
  • • A key aspect of your role will be to personally lead and successfully close strategic deals with marquee MedTech accounts. In these engagements, you will serve as the senior commercial relationship holder, fostering and nurturing the company's most vital MedTech partnerships.
  • • You will be tasked with developing and executing sophisticated account-based strategies targeting top-tier organizations across various MedTech sub-sectors, including medical devices, diagnostics, surgical robotics, connected health, and specialized MedTech services.
  • • As the business experiences rapid growth, you will build and manage a high-performing MedTech sales organization. This includes the critical tasks of recruiting top talent, providing effective coaching, and establishing clear performance standards to ensure sustained success.
  • • Leveraging your established personal network of senior executives and key decision-makers at major MedTech companies will be crucial for accelerating pipeline development and significantly shortening sales cycles.
  • • You will be responsible for building and maintaining strong C-suite and VP-level relationships across target accounts, strategically positioning Hippocratic AI as an indispensable strategic platform partner rather than a mere point solution vendor.
  • • Representing Hippocratic AI at prominent MedTech industry events, conferences, and executive forums will be vital for enhancing brand visibility and solidifying credibility across the sector.
  • • A deep and nuanced understanding of the competitive landscape, emerging MedTech trends, and the dynamic market forces that influence buying decisions and partnership opportunities is essential.
  • • You will also cultivate strategic relationships with key MedTech industry influencers, advisors, and ecosystem partners, including Group Purchasing Organizations (GPOs), distributors, and system integrators, to broaden our reach and impact.
  • • Defining the comprehensive MedTech go-to-market strategy is a core deliverable. This includes identifying target segments, defining ideal customer profiles, crafting compelling value propositions, establishing effective pricing and packaging approaches, and developing a strategic channel strategy.
  • • You will identify and prioritize high-value use cases for AI-enabled engagement across diverse MedTech workflows. This includes areas such as patient support for devices and implants, post-surgical follow-up, remote monitoring engagement, clinical trial recruitment, healthcare professional (HCP) education, and field service support.
  • • Developing persuasive commercial narratives and robust ROI frameworks specifically tailored to MedTech buyers will be key. These frameworks should clearly articulate benefits such as improved patient adherence, reduced support costs, enhanced HCP engagement, and accelerated clinical evidence generation.
  • • Close collaboration with Product and Medical Affairs teams is expected to ensure the platform roadmap accurately reflects MedTech market needs and that solution capabilities are uniquely differentiated for MedTech use cases.
  • • You will inform pricing strategy and deal structures, ensuring they align with MedTech market norms, customer expectations, and competitive positioning.
  • • Partnering effectively with the Customer Success team is vital to ensure seamless transitions from deal closure to successful deployment, driving early customer experiences that foster expansion and advocacy.
  • • You will be responsible for driving net revenue retention and account expansion by proactively identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities across various business units, therapeutic areas, and geographies within existing MedTech accounts.
  • • Gathering critical market feedback and customer insights from enterprise engagements and translating them into actionable recommendations for Product, Marketing, and senior leadership will be a continuous process.
  • • Establishing strong reference-ability and developing compelling case studies with early MedTech customers will be instrumental in accelerating pipeline conversion with subsequent accounts.
