- • In this strategic partner-facing role, you will be instrumental in driving the adoption and scaling of Palmetto’s LightReach Finance program among home service contractors. Your primary focus will be on building and nurturing relationships with contractor partners, ensuring their successful onboarding, and equipping their sales teams with the knowledge and skills to effectively present and close deals for our innovative financing solutions. This position offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of home electrification by enabling trusted local service providers to offer clean energy upgrades seamlessly.
- • Initially, your efforts will concentrate on expanding our network by identifying, recruiting, and onboarding new contractor partners who align with Palmetto’s business objectives for the LightReach program. This involves proactive outreach, demonstrating the value proposition of our platform, and establishing strong foundational relationships. As the program matures, your role will evolve to emphasize ongoing partner support and enablement, ensuring our partners maximize their success with Palmetto.
- • This role is ideally suited for individuals with a background in residential in-home sales, possessing a deep understanding of how homeowners make decisions regarding significant home improvement projects. You should be comfortable and adept at leading engaging live sales training sessions, providing direct coaching to front-line sales professionals, and offering consistent, hands-on field support to overcome challenges and drive performance.
- • Key responsibilities include serving as the primary point of contact for an assigned portfolio of contractor partners within the residential home services trades. You will lead comprehensive on-site and virtual training sessions for sales representatives, focusing on effectively positioning, presenting, and closing the LightReach program within the customer's home. A critical aspect of your role will be collaborating closely with internal Sales and General Manager teams to ensure alignment and drive program adoption at the leadership level within partner organizations.
- • You will provide invaluable support to sales teams through practical means such as ride-alongs, assisting with objection handling during sales calls, and offering direct coaching on in-home pitch delivery. By closely monitoring LightReach activity, adoption rates, and engagement metrics for your partners, you will proactively identify and address any friction points that hinder success. Your insights and feedback will be crucial in refining our tools, resources, and partner support processes, working in tandem with internal teams to enhance the overall partner experience.
- • Furthermore, you will be responsible for gathering critical field-level feedback to inform future platform improvements and the development of effective partner enablement content. Maintaining a high standard of professionalism and ensuring exceptional partner satisfaction across all interactions will be paramount. Your success will be measured by the successful onboarding of new contractor partners, the growth of LightReach adoption and transaction volume within your assigned accounts, and the tangible improvement in frontline sales team confidence and accuracy when presenting the LightReach Program. Ultimately, you will contribute to shortening the time-to-productivity for new contractor partners and increasing overall partner satisfaction through proactive, dedicated relationship management, helping to build a brighter, cleaner world.
🎯 Requirements
- • 3–5 years of experience in residential in-home sales (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, generators, roofing, or similar)
- • 2–4 years in a partner-facing or field enablement role (Sales Trainer, Territory Manager, Manufacturer Rep, etc.)
- • Demonstrated ability to train and coach salespeople in person and virtually
- • Experience working with or for contractor businesses in the home services industry
- • Strong presentation, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills
- • Willingness to travel up to 75% regionally/nationally
- • HVAC Experience is required
