- • As Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Apollo Information Systems LLC, you will be at the forefront of our financial strategy, playing a pivotal role in scaling our rapidly growing cybersecurity services company. This executive leadership position is critical as we transition from our Series A funding into a sophisticated Tech-Enabled services firm. You will be responsible for the entirety of our Accounting and Finance operations, driving financial integrity, operational excellence, and informed strategic decision-making.
- • Your entrepreneurial mindset and passion for cybersecurity will be key as you lead the development and execution of comprehensive financial strategies, meticulously aligned with our ambitious growth and valuation objectives. This includes spearheading long-term financial planning, intricate budgeting processes, and robust forecasting, encompassing detailed cash flow projections, dynamic scenario analysis, and insightful mix/margin analysis.
- • You will be instrumental in identifying opportunities for margin improvement through rigorous variance reporting and profitability analysis, ensuring our financial performance consistently exceeds expectations. A significant part of your role will involve overseeing all federal, state, and local tax and regulatory compliance and filings, while proactively developing strategies to optimize the company's tax position.
- • Managing cash flow, working capital, and liquidity planning will be a core responsibility. You will optimize our banking relationships, streamline treasury operations, and refine credit and collections processes to maintain healthy and efficient cash conversion cycles, ensuring the financial stability and agility of the organization.
- • This role demands a hands-on approach, requiring you to excel in both strategic planning and meticulous execution. You will oversee operational financial metric reporting, including pricing strategies, complex revenue recognition principles, and project profitability, ensuring clarity and accuracy across all financial reporting.
- • A crucial aspect of the CFO role involves managing stock plan governance. This includes overseeing 401(a) valuations, processing option grants and warrant issuances, managing stock-based compensation accounting, and ensuring compliance with all related tax reporting requirements, such as Form 3921 and 83(b) elections, and ISO $100K limit compliance.
- • You will also manage critical board and shareholder actions, preparing essential board materials, drafting resolutions, and maintaining accurate minutes. As the first-line evaluator and final approver for contracts, you will also manage our legal vendor relationships, ensuring all contractual obligations and risks are appropriately managed.
- • For our affiliated partnerships and investment entities, you will oversee accounting and financial reporting. This encompasses meticulous capital account maintenance, managing partner contributions, share allocations, distributions, ownership changes, K-1 reporting, and the overall management of the partnership ledger, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- • Furthermore, you will be responsible for overseeing our comprehensive insurance programs, including Directors & Officers (D&O), Errors & Omissions (E&O), and Cyber insurance, ensuring adequate liability coverage and effective contractual risk mitigation.
- • A key deliverable will be the preparation and delivery of comprehensive board materials and financial presentations. You will effectively communicate financial performance, identified risks, and strategic opportunities to the Board of Directors, CEO, and shareholders. You will also provide crucial support for fundraising activities and investor relations as needed, acting as a key liaison.
- • You will foster a culture of continuous improvement within the finance department, actively identifying opportunities for automation and enhancing operational efficiency. This requires close collaboration cross-functionally with sales, sales operations, human resources, and delivery teams, ensuring financial insights support all areas of the business.
- • Your leadership will be vital in building and maintaining a scalable financial infrastructure that supports Apollo's rapid expansion, ensuring robust internal controls and accurate financial reporting at every stage of growth.
- • We are seeking a leader who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, demonstrating adaptability and a proactive approach to evolving priorities, all while upholding uncompromising ethics and a steadfast commitment to financial accuracy.
