- • As Chief of Staff at Bjak Sdn. Bhd., you will be responsible for building and running the operational infrastructure behind A1, a proactive AI smart assistant designed to integrate intelligence into everyday workflows through minimal prompting. This role is critical to enabling the company’s scalable execution across global markets by establishing the foundational operations that support product development, team growth, and international expansion.
- • Day to day, you will lead business operations across multiple countries, manage and develop a team of Business Operations Partners, oversee office setup and entity incorporation for market launches, implement payroll and local operational requirements, manage external vendors and service providers, support recruiting operations including recruiter onboarding and hiring activities, plan and execute company events and offsites, track key initiatives to ensure timely completion, and continuously improve processes to increase speed and reliability.
- • You will join a small, highly capable team at A1, where high talent density, ownership, and standards are paramount. The company operates with a bias for action, valuing individuals who think independently, move quickly, and solve problems without waiting for instructions. Success in this role directly contributes to the company’s ability to scale its AI-powered assistant globally while maintaining operational excellence.
- • In this role, you will develop deep expertise in cross-functional operational leadership, gain experience in international entity setup and compliance, refine your ability to manage complex stakeholder ecosystems, and strengthen your skills in process optimization and execution-driven leadership—positioning you for senior operational or strategic roles in high-growth technology environments.
