📋 Description

• As Chief of Staff to the CEO at Genesis Therapeutics Inc., you will serve as a strategic thought partner and operational force multiplier, directly supporting the CEO in driving company strategy, aligning leadership, and executing high-impact initiatives that bridge gaps across functions in a fast-growing AI-driven biotech company with over $300M in funding and real-world drug discovery ambitions.
• You will own and refine the leadership team’s operating rhythm, including quarterly and annual planning, OKR setting, executive team facilitation, and board meeting preparation, ensuring alignment, accountability, and strategic clarity across the organization while acting as the CEO’s trusted advisor in sensitive, cross-functional discussions.
• You will regularly engage with teams across R&D, business development, operations, and corporate functions to surface emerging risks, identify operational inefficiencies, and connect insights that siloed leaders may miss, enabling proactive decision-making and organizational agility.
• You will lead and deliver ambiguous, high-stakes strategic projects that do not fall under a single department’s ownership — such as special initiatives, process improvements, or external partnership evaluations — requiring you to synthesize diverse perspectives, mobilize resources, and drive outcomes with urgency and precision.
• You will represent the CEO’s voice in internal and external communications, drafting clear, influential memos, presentations, and correspondence for senior stakeholders, including the Board, while maintaining the highest standards of discretion, judgment, and executive presence when handling confidential information.
• You will work in a mission-driven environment at the forefront of AI and drug discovery, where your contributions directly impact the advancement of Genesis’ GEMS platform and internal therapeutics pipeline, offering unparalleled exposure to cutting-edge science, high-growth scaling, and strategic decision-making at the intersection of technology and biotech.
• You will develop and sharpen your executive leadership capabilities by operating at the highest levels of the organization, gaining deep experience in strategic planning, cross-functional leadership, and board-level communication — skills that are transferable to future roles in operations, strategy, or general management within innovative, scaling companies.

🎯 Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in top-tier management consulting, venture capital, or business operations at a high-growth technology or biotech company, with preference for AI, software, or data-driven environments
• Proven ability to work across functions under pressure, delivering tangible outcomes by owning, shipping, or solving complex problems that mattered to the organization
• Strong executive communication skills, both written and verbal, with demonstrated experience influencing senior stakeholders and presenting to Boards or executive teams
• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree from a top institution preferred; PhD or STEM advanced degree also welcome
• Based in or willing to relocate to the San Mateo, CA Bay Area, with ability to travel domestically and internationally approximately 10% of the time
