- • The Chief Operating Officer (COO) is a senior executive role responsible for enterprise-wide healthcare and security operations at Planned Parenthood of Wisconsin, Inc., serving as a strategic thought partner to the President & CEO and ensuring mission-centered business strategies and long-term operational viability.
- • Day to day, the COO sets strategy for healthcare operations and infrastructure, ensures high-quality patient care and compliance with regulatory standards, oversees enterprise technology and security systems, leads cross-functional teams, manages budgets and financial planning, develops external partnerships, and applies an equity lens to all decisions.
- • The team is part of the executive leadership team at Planned Parenthood of Wisconsin, Inc., the largest and most trusted reproductive health care provider in Wisconsin, serving over 60,000 patients annually across 18 health centers statewide.
- • In this role, the person can learn and achieve strategic leadership in complex healthcare operations, deepen expertise in healthcare compliance and financial stewardship, lead organizational change with an equity focus, and drive mission impact through sustainable health system innovation and executive decision-making.
🎯 Requirements
- • Advanced degree in healthcare administration or related field
- • Minimum of seven (7) years of senior operational leadership experience in healthcare or similarly regulated environment, including multi-site operations and enterprise-level systems
- • Proven experience serving as a senior executive leader and trusted thought partner to the CEO and governing board
- • Demonstrated expertise in healthcare delivery systems, regulatory compliance, accreditation standards, and risk management
- • Executive-level business acumen with direct accountability for budgeting, financial planning, forecasting, and resource allocation
- • Experience overseeing enterprise technology systems, health information systems, and data security in a regulated environment; EPIC experience preferred
