📋 Description

• • As Chief Technology Officer at Bjak Sdn. Bhd., you will define the long-term technical vision and architecture for a rapidly growing global technology company that builds superior application platforms, including the leading insurance platform in Southeast Asia serving over 8 million users, with a mission to drive efficiency and societal impact through technology.
• • You will lead technical direction by evaluating trade-offs between speed and long-term design, ensuring systems are scalable, reliable, and evolvable, while guiding decisions on model integration, data pipelines, distributed systems, and product architecture across global teams.
• • You will build and scale a world-class engineering team across key talent hubs in China and the US, identify and develop technical leaders, establish hiring standards, and foster a high-performance engineering culture rooted in hands-on ownership, code and design reviews, and rapid iteration.
• • You will collaborate closely with product, research, and leadership to align technical execution with business goals, resolve cross-team challenges, and maintain high engineering standards while driving frequent shipping in a flat, transparent, and highly motivated organization.
