- • As Chief Technology Officer at Bjak Sdn. Bhd., you will define the long-term technical vision and architecture for a rapidly growing company that builds superior application platforms globally, with a mission to create successful businesses while contributing positively to society through increased efficiency.
- • You will lead technical direction by evaluating trade-offs between speed of iteration and long-term system design, ensuring systems are scalable, reliable, and built for evolution, while guiding key decisions in model integration, data pipelines, distributed systems, and product architecture.
- • You will provide engineering leadership by translating product direction into technical execution, structuring workstreams, maintaining high engineering standards, and establishing development practices and technical standards across the organization.
- • You will build and scale a world-class engineering team across key talent hubs including China and the US, identify strong technical leaders, define hiring standards, and help create a high-quality engineering organization aligned with the company’s mission.
- • You will collaborate closely with product, research, and leadership teams to ensure smooth execution of technical workstreams across geographies, resolve cross-team challenges, and maintain alignment on priorities.
- • You will operate in a small, senior, hands-on environment where engineers own features end-to-end, participate in rigorous code and design reviews, and contribute to a culture of rapid iteration, open architectural discussion, and frequent shipping.
