- • The Member Screening Analyst plays a crucial role in ensuring Tide’s adherence to compliance regulations and mitigating financial crime risks by conducting thorough screenings of new and existing members against sanction lists, watchlists, PEP lists, and adverse media.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting full reviews of screening alerts, analyzing results to assess risk levels, preparing detailed reports and documentation, collaborating with the second line of defence on investigations, and identifying process improvements through automation or updated data sources.
- • The role sits within Tide’s First Line of Defence, specifically in the growing Perpetual KYX team, which is dedicated to preventing money laundering, terrorist financing, and other illicit financial activities across Tide’s global member base of over 1.8 million SMEs in the UK, India, Germany, and France.
- • The analyst will develop expertise in KYC/CDD/EDD processes, regulatory frameworks (UK/EU), financial crime detection, and cross-functional collaboration, while gaining experience in using tools like Google Sheets and Lexis Nexis to analyze large datasets and drive process efficiency in a hybrid work environment.
🎯 Requirements
- • 1+ year of work experience in KYC or compliance
- • Clear understanding of the UK/EU regulatory landscape
- • Strong understanding and experience of CDD and EDD processes
- • Previous experience working with Google Sheets and Lexis Nexis
- • Analytical mindset with ability to digest large data sets and spot patterns and trends
- • Exceptional English communication skills (written and verbal)
- • Ability to work well in a team: decisive, goal-oriented, proactive, and adaptable
- • Comfortable with hybrid working environments
