- • The Claim Business Project Sr Advisor role at The Cigna Group is a strategic, high-impact position responsible for leading critical enterprise initiatives within PX&O Claim operations, with a primary focus on Proclaim Auto Adjudication, Claim Attachments, and automation projects. This role serves as the essential bridge between business needs and technology delivery, ensuring that complex claim processing improvements are scoped, prioritized, and executed successfully to enhance efficiency, quality, and service for healthcare providers and members.
- • As the business lead, the advisor partners closely with technology teams, SMEs, and operations to define project scope, manage risks, apply Agile methodologies, approve solution designs, and ensure organizational readiness for implementation. The role drives thought leadership in business project management, mentors junior analysts, and provides data-driven insights to support executive decision-making in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.

- • In this role, the individual will deepen their expertise in healthcare claims operations, automation, and Agile project leadership while gaining visibility into enterprise-wide initiatives. They will develop advanced stakeholder management and influencing skills in a matrixed organization, strengthen their ability to drive measurable business impact through technology-enabled process improvement, and position themselves as a trusted advisor and leader in healthcare operations transformation.
🎯 Requirements
- • High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
- • 10+ years of Provider Claims operations experience, including Proclaim medical claim operations
- • 5+ years of experience driving claim automation and process improvement initiatives (highly preferred)
- • Deep knowledge of Provider Experience and Claim Operations; recognized as a subject-matter expert
- • Strong project management and organizational skills with proven ability to manage multiple initiatives using Agile methodologies
- • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to collaborate and influence in a matrixed environment
- • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, remote environment with strong customer focus
