  • • As the Onboarding Team Lead at Numeral SAS, you will play a pivotal role in transforming the company’s onboarding function from a high-touch, manual process into a scalable, technology-enabled engine that supports rapid growth while preserving the white-glove customer experience that defines the brand. This role is critical to Numeral’s mission of eliminating administrative burdens for e-commerce businesses, allowing them to focus on innovation and growth rather than tax compliance complexity.
  • • You will lead and develop a team of 10+ Implementation Managers, serving as both a people leader and operational architect responsible for hiring, coaching, performance management, and fostering a culture of extreme accountability, urgency, and customer obsession. Your leadership will directly impact customer satisfaction, time-to-value, and the company’s ability to scale without sacrificing service quality.
  • • You will own key operational metrics including Time-to-Value (TTV), onboarding completion rates, and CSAT, using data-driven insights to identify bottlenecks, forecast capacity, and refine processes. By systematizing growth through scalable playbooks and internal tooling, you will enable the team to handle 5x the current volume while maintaining high standards of precision and care.
  • • Acting as the primary escalation point for complex implementations, you will partner closely with Product and Engineering teams to translate frontline customer feedback into product improvements, helping define how onboarding evolves as Numeral expands beyond initial tax compliance into broader automation solutions for internet commerce.
  • • You will build and refine the onboarding playbook from the ground up, establishing repeatable workflows, training programs, and best practices that ensure consistency and excellence as the team grows. This includes owning the full lifecycle of team development—from recruitment and onboarding to ongoing skill development and performance coaching.
  • • You will operate in a remote-first, high-ownership culture where your decisions have immediate and measurable impact on the company’s trajectory. 🎯 Requirements

  • • 5+ years of experience in implementation, onboarding, or operations, with at least 2+ years managing or leading teams through high-growth phases
  • • Proven ability to design and iterate workflows from scratch as products and customer needs evolve
  • • Comfort discussing technical concepts such as APIs, data migrations, and complex logic, even without an engineering background
  • • Strong ownership mindset with a bias for action and the ability to thrive in ambiguous, fast-paced startup environments
  • • Excellent communication skills across both technical and non-technical stakeholders
