- • As a Claims Adjuster- Liability at Sedgwick, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals facing unexpected events by investigating, evaluating, and resolving insurance claims with fairness and accuracy. Your work directly impacts claimants’ recovery and financial stability, making a meaningful difference in their lives.
- • Day to day, you will manage assigned liability claims from start to finish, including conducting thorough investigations, interviewing insured parties, claimants, and witnesses, inspecting claim sites, determining coverage and liability, quantifying damages, preparing detailed reports, negotiating settlements, and participating in mediations or arbitrations as needed. You will also maintain accurate records in company systems, manage billing and accounts receivable tasks, and collaborate with defense counsel when assigned.

🎯 Requirements
- • Post-secondary education
- • Valid driver’s license
- • Current or eligibility to obtain an insurance adjuster license (including provisional)
- • Proven adjusting and negotiating skills
- • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- • Proficiency with computer systems, including Microsoft Office and Excel
