- • The Claims Systems Configuration Associate Analyst role at eviCore, a division of The Cigna Group, is essential for maintaining data integrity, security, and process optimization in claims adjudication systems, directly supporting accurate and efficient healthcare claims processing.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include managing claims system configuration requests via Jira, reviewing and documenting changes in Excel, testing configurations using SQL and Access databases, validating post-production changes, and conducting root cause analysis for claim processing issues.
- • The role operates within eviCore’s fast-paced claims systems team, part of The Cigna Group’s Evernorth Health Services division, which focuses on innovative pharmacy, care, and benefit solutions to improve health outcomes for millions.
- • This position offers the opportunity to develop technical expertise in healthcare claims configuration, SQL querying, Access database management, and process validation, while building skills in documentation, testing, and cross-functional collaboration in a regulated healthcare environment.
🎯 Requirements
- • High school diploma or GED required; associate degree in a computer-related field preferred
- • Minimum of two (2) years of experience working with claims or healthcare data required
- • One (1) year of experience configuring medical claims systems required
- • Demonstrated ability to write and run basic queries using Microsoft SQL Server, required
- • At least one (1) year of experience working with Microsoft Access database, including data manipulation, required
- • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, formulas, and charts, preferred
