- • Lead and empower a team of managers who lead Implementation Managers to drive performance and achieve high client satisfaction outcomes for Cigna Healthcare’s Under 500 Client Implementation team, ensuring strategic initiatives translate into flawless, high-impact client implementations that improve health outcomes and operational excellence.
- • Own end-to-end planning and execution of strategic initiatives, define delivery standards, manage operational performance using data to proactively identify risks, balance capacity and workflow across the client implementation journey, and evolve metrics to optimize team productivity and ensure implementations are delivered on time and right the first time.
- • Foster a culture of agility, resilience, and continuous transformation by developing managers in leadership, change management, risk management, and conflict management, while building a high-performing team culture rooted in autonomy, inclusion, accountability, and connection to client and enterprise outcomes.
- • Partner with regional sales and matrix teams to resolve escalated client or broker issues, apply advanced change management methodologies to anticipate resistance, engage stakeholders, and ensure seamless adoption of new processes, leveraging feedback and performance data to refine strategies for sustainable results.
- • Develop and mentor team members, build bench strength, drive talent development and succession planning across experience levels, and champion an inclusive, trusting, collaborative environment where teams understand how their work drives meaningful client and enterprise outcomes.
- • Utilize proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) to navigate complex systems, analyze data for trends and performance improvement opportunities, and communicate insights effectively across all organizational levels to enable fact-based decision making.
- • Travel up to 25% as needed to support client engagements, team alignment, or in-person work requirements within 50 miles of designated locations (Bloomfield, CT; Chattanooga, TN; Denver, CO; St Louis, MO; Scottsdale, AZ), while maintaining a reliable cable or fiber optic internet connection (minimum 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload) for remote work.
🎯 Requirements
- • High School Diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred
- • 5+ years of relevant experience in client implementation, project management, account management, or operations management, preferably within a health plan, PBM, or PMO
- • 3+ years of leadership experience in client-facing roles with proven ability to enable cross-functional matrix teams, strongly preferred within a health plan, PBM, or PMO
- • 3+ years of experience analyzing data to identify trends, gaps, and performance improvement opportunities
- • 2+ years of experience leading high-performing teams, driving client satisfaction and enterprise results while developing talent, building bench strength, and fostering an inclusive, accountable culture
- • 2+ years of developing and mentoring team members, building bench strength, and driving a strong culture of inclusion, trust, autonomy, mastery, accountability, and collaboration
- • 2+ years of expertise in project management methodologies and risk management
- • Demonstrated experience using an enterprise mindset to translate strategic objectives into tactical execution to achieve high client satisfaction
- • Training or certification in Change Management or Project Management (PMP) preferred
- • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) with experience navigating complex systems and platforms
- • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with ability to influence across all levels of the organization
- • Ability to travel up to 25% as required
