- • This Client Executive role at Gartner, Inc. is responsible for setting strategy and driving new business for major regional accounts of substantial strategic and revenue-generating importance, focusing on a small number of large, multi-national clients to achieve quota-aligned sales outcomes.
- • The position centers on building trusted advisor relationships with C-level executives, translating client business strategies into Gartner selling opportunities, and ensuring increased customer satisfaction, retention, and account growth through disciplined execution of Gartner’s sales methodology.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include directing strategy for large strategic accounts, managing executive relationships, conducting detailed account planning, maintaining forecast accuracy on monthly/quarterly/annual bases, managing fiscal responsibility for expenses, and maintaining competitive market knowledge.
- • The role requires mastery of Gartner’s internal sales process, proficiency in large account planning and territory management, and the ability to structure innovative, integrated solutions that provide IT decision support to global enterprises based on deep understanding of enterprise-wide issues and technology buying centers.
- • The individual will develop and deliver effective presentations to C-level decision makers, prospect and manage senior-level relationships within multinational companies, and maintain in-depth knowledge of Gartner’s products and services to drive value-added, insightful client engagements.

🎯 Requirements
- • 10-15 years of external experience with proven success in consultative sales, preferably in high technology (services, software, or hardware)
- • Ability to prospect and manage C-level and senior-level relationships within large multi-national companies
- • Bachelor’s degree preferred; Master’s or advanced degree a plus
- • Strong computer proficiency and excellent written, oral, and presentation skills
- • Proven experience building excellent client relationships and delivering strategic, value-added insights into client business
- • Comprehensive understanding of technology buying centers and extensive industry knowledge specific to vertical markets per territory
