📋 Description

• As a Client Onboarding Consultant at Root Insurance Company, you serve as the first human touchpoint for prospective clients, conducting Fit Calls to assess whether individuals are a strong match for the firm’s financial planning services and ensuring a seamless handoff to advisors when appropriate.
• You will run 20+ Fit Calls per week with inbound prospects, quickly evaluating their financial situation, goals, timeline, and personality to determine fit, while identifying specific pain points and communicating Root’s value proposition with clarity and confidence.
• You’ll work within a mission-driven, fee-only RIA that manages $2.6B in assets and has built trust at scale through content and community—your role is to convert existing demand by guiding qualified prospects toward the right advisor with warmth, context, and preparation.
• In this role, you’ll develop deep expertise in high-net-worth retirement planning, refine your consultative communication skills, and directly impact clients’ financial confidence by ensuring every interaction leaves prospects feeling heard, respected, and informed—regardless of outcome.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in financial services, wealth management, or financial planning
• Demonstrated ability to build rapport with high-net-worth clients
• Strong working knowledge of retirement planning concepts
• Experience with CRM tools (HubSpot experience a plus)
• CFP designation or Series 65 preferred but not required
• Experience leveraging video messaging tools (e.g., Loom) to increase engagement and build trust

🏖️ Benefits

• Base salary: $90,000
• Variable compensation target: $60,000–$90,000 tied to qualified enrollment metrics
• OTE: $150,000–$180,000
