  • • As a Client Partner at OpenAI, you will drive new and expanded advertising revenue by owning the full sales cycle from prospecting to deal closure, directly contributing to the company’s mission of ensuring responsible and widespread adoption of artificial intelligence while helping advertisers achieve measurable business outcomes on the platform.
  • • You will prospect, qualify, and close new advertising opportunities, own and achieve defined revenue targets within an assigned territory or vertical, develop and execute structured account plans to drive advertiser ROI and long-term revenue growth, build and maintain relationships with senior-level advertising decision-makers, structure and negotiate complex commercial agreements, quantify opportunities through data-driven business cases aligned to advertiser objectives, lead cross-functional collaboration across Product, Engineering, Marketing, Policy, and Operations to support complex deals, partner with Account Managers to ensure seamless post-sale transitions and coordinated expansion strategies, and maintain rigorous pipeline management and accurate revenue forecasting.
  • • OpenAI’s Sales team partners closely with customers to deeply understand their businesses and needs, helping inform product development and solutions that drive meaningful revenue growth and long-term success while upholding strong standards for user trust and platform integrity; the company is dedicated to ensuring general-purpose AI benefits all of humanity through safe deployment and inclusive innovation.
  • • In this role, you will develop expertise in influencing senior stakeholders, translating analytical insights into compelling commercial narratives, structuring high-value agreements in fast-moving AI markets, and shaping go-to-market strategies for emerging AI-powered advertising products — positioning you as a strategic advisor at the intersection of technology, commerce, and ethics.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 10+ years of experience in performance marketing, digital marketing, or client-facing strategy and consulting roles
  • • 3+ years of proven experience as an advisor influencing executives and clients
  • • Experience owning revenue targets and closing complex deals
  • • Ability to build structured business cases and influence senior stakeholders internally and externally
  • • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • • Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous, fast-changing environments
  • • Skill in understanding client businesses and priorities to define success metrics and align on partnership goals
  • • Capability to translate analytical insights into compelling commercial narratives
