📋 Description

• As a Clinical Coding Specialist at Heidi Health, you will be the clinical coding expert ensuring our AI-powered scribe platform generates compliant, billable, structured medical documentation aligned with Australian healthcare standards, directly impacting the accuracy and reliability of AI-supported clinical workflows.
• You will lead medical coding validation for AI-generated documentation, develop coding guidelines from Australian Coding Standards, conduct quality audits, collaborate with engineering to translate expertise into technical requirements, work with clinicians to understand real-world documentation patterns, ensure regulatory compliance, analyze coding metrics for system optimization, stay current with coding updates, and support customer implementations with coding expertise.
• Heidi Health is a fast-growing healthtech startup building an AI Care Partner to reduce clinician burnout and restore focus on patient care, backed by nearly $100M in funding and powering over two million patient visits weekly across 116 countries, with a mission to make healthcare more continuous and human.
