📋 Description

• A Clinical Pharmacist (Independent Prescriber) role focused on prescribing and reviewing cannabis-based medicines for patients with complex clinical needs, offering a unique opportunity to shape care in an evolving specialty.
• Day-to-day responsibilities include clinically checking and reviewing CBPM prescriptions, prescribing medicines as an Independent Prescriber, providing expert guidance to prescribers and patients, maintaining accurate patient records per GPhC standards, supporting the dispensary team with complex clinical queries, delivering education and training on CBPM, and collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to improve processes and outcomes.

• The role offers the chance to grow expertise in a fast-evolving field, contribute to clinical pathway development and service improvements, and make a lasting impact on patient outcomes while working in a hybrid model (3 days on-site, 2 days remote, 1 weekend shift per month).

🎯 Requirements

• GPhC registered pharmacist with an Independent Prescriber (IP) qualification
• At least 2 years prescribing experience
• Experience working in a clinical setting
• Clear and confident communicator across clinical and non-clinical settings
• Highly effective at managing time and prioritising competing demands
• Well-organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage complex workflows
