- • The Clinical Program Advisor provides expert consultation on rebate contracts and formulary strategies for complex custom clients, playing a critical role in optimizing financial outcomes and client relationships within Express Scripts’ formulary consulting practice.
- • Day to day, the advisor meets with large and complex custom clients to review formulary modeling, creates financial impact assessments, develops client presentations, leads interdepartmental discussions on rebate invoicing, and collaborates with Clinical Account Executives to align strategies with rebate offerings and utilization management programs.
- • The role sits within Evernorth Health Services, a division of The Cigna Group, which focuses on delivering innovative pharmacy, care, and benefit solutions to improve health outcomes for millions through data-driven, client-centered approaches.
- • In this role, the individual will deepen expertise in pharmaceutical rebate contracts, financial and analytical modeling, formulary strategy development, and cross-functional client engagement, while building leadership capabilities in process optimization and strategic consulting for high-value healthcare clients.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or Pharm.D. preferred, with current active U.S. Pharmacist License
- • 2+ years of experience working in a pharmacy environment
- • 1+ years of significant formulary management or development experience
- • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Access, with experience in financial or analytical modeling
- • Ability to travel approximately 10% of the time
