  • • As a Clinical Recruiter at Wheel Health Inc., you will be instrumental in expanding and nurturing our nationwide network of fractional physicians and nurses. This pivotal role directly contributes to our core mission of prioritizing clinicians, ensuring they receive an outstanding experience from their very first interaction with Wheel.
  • • You will engage in full-lifecycle recruitment, meticulously managing the process from initial sourcing and screening to interviewing and extending offers to qualified healthcare professionals.
  • • A key responsibility involves partnering closely with the Marketplace Operations team to develop and execute strategic recruitment plans. This includes prioritizing efforts based on critical needs such as high-demand state licenses, specific clinician types, and sought-after specialties, ensuring Wheel has the right talent in the right places.
  • • You will be tasked with identifying and implementing innovative process improvements throughout the clinical recruitment lifecycle. The goal is to continuously enhance efficiency, streamline workflows, and increase overall throughput, making the recruitment process as effective as possible.
  • • Building and maintaining robust relationships with clinicians is paramount. You will serve as a primary point of contact, fostering long-term engagement and promoting retention through consistent, professional, and reliable communication.
  • • A significant aspect of the role involves analyzing and reporting on key hiring metrics. This data-driven approach will be used to evaluate the effectiveness of various sourcing strategies, identify areas for optimization, and inform future recruitment decisions.
  • • Your sourcing efforts will extend to conducting thorough initial resume reviews on external job boards, meticulously identifying candidates who possess the required qualifications and experience.
  • • You will be responsible for importing candidate data from external platforms and providing clear guidance to prospective clinicians on how to successfully complete their application with Wheel.
  • • Responding promptly and professionally to candidate inquiries across multiple communication channels, including Careteam, Fountain, Jira, and various external job boards, is essential for maintaining a positive candidate experience.
  • • You will actively manage candidates through the initial stages of the recruitment workflow within our applicant tracking systems (ATS), ensuring all candidate data is kept accurate, up-to-date, and well-organized.
  • • This role requires a proactive and self-starting individual who can thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and often demanding environment. The ability to manage multiple priorities effectively and adapt to changing needs is crucial.
  • • You will leverage creative and effective sourcing strategies to identify and attract top-tier clinical talent from across the nation, thinking outside the box to reach passive and active candidates.
  • • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, are vital for interacting with candidates, internal stakeholders, and potentially external partners.
  • • While a Bachelor's degree is preferred, your extensive experience and proven track record in healthcare recruitment will be highly valued.
  • • Familiarity with healthcare settings, understanding of regulatory requirements, and awareness of industry-specific hiring challenges will enable you to navigate the complexities of clinical staffing effectively.
  • • You will contribute to Wheel's mission of putting clinicians first, ensuring their journey with the company is positive and supportive from the outset.

  • • This is a 1099 Contractor, Full-Time position, requiring 40 hours per week for an initial 4-month contract duration, offering a flexible remote work arrangement within the USA.
