- • The Clinical Sales Manager at Karius Inc. is responsible for driving sales and expanding the adoption of Karius’ proprietary Next-Generation Sequencing infectious disease diagnostic test across hospitals and health systems in Western New York and Western Pennsylvania. This role is critical to advancing Karius’ mission of transforming infectious disease diagnosis through genomic innovation.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include identifying and engaging key stakeholders such as infectious disease physicians, lab directors, and hospital executives; delivering consultative sales presentations; managing the full sales cycle from lead generation to contract negotiation and renewal; collaborating with cross-functional teams including Medical Affairs, Marketing, and Customer Success; maintaining accurate Salesforce records; and traveling up to 70% to support in-person engagements.
- • Karius is a venture-backed life science startup leveraging Next-Generation Sequencing and proprietary data analysis to detect over 1,000 pathogens from a single blood sample with rapid turnaround.
