- • The Clinical Support Application Analyst - PathNet role is a critical position within UofL Health's IT Cerner Support team, responsible for ensuring the effective development, implementation, training, and support of electronic health record (EHR) systems to enhance patient care and organizational efficiency.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting in the development and maintenance of Cerner and other clinical systems, providing guidance to build and design teams, coordinating with department leaders and end users on clinical workflows, supporting super-user groups, leading evaluations of IT updates, ensuring quality assurance of maintenance releases, managing incident resolution across Tier 1-3 support levels, and mentoring junior analysts in system analysis, design, documentation, and end-user training.
- • The role operates within UofL Health, a fully integrated regional academic health system comprising five hospitals, four medical centers, nearly 200 physician practice locations, over 700 providers, the Frazier Rehab Institute, and the Brown Cancer Center, serving a mission-driven organization focused on delivering patient-centered care through its 12,000+ team members.
- • The analyst will deepen expertise in Cerner PathNet and related modules, strengthen skills in healthcare IT workflow optimization, gain experience in project lifecycle management for EHR implementations, develop leadership capabilities in training and mentoring, and contribute directly to strategic initiatives that improve clinical operations and patient experience through technology.
