- • Lead and develop a high-performing Clinical Support Team to deliver exceptional customer experiences for dental practice clients using Dandy’s innovative technology platform, directly contributing to the modernization of the $200B dental industry by ensuring clinicians receive timely, accurate, and empathetic support.
- • Supervise and coach a team of frontline associates handling complex dental inquiries via live chat, phone, and other channels; drive best practices in patient-centered support, manage daily operations, own team KPIs including productivity, accessibility, and quality, and provide regular 1:1 feedback and performance coaching.
- • Collaborate with QA to audit interactions, identify process gaps, develop and optimize Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and implement scalable solutions to improve efficiency and consistency across the support function.
- • Use data analysis and root cause analysis to independently resolve operational bottlenecks, partner with cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Clinical) to implement improvements, and foster a culture of continuous learning and operational excellence.
- • Champion a positive, collaborative team environment that prioritizes customer empathy, de-escalation, and fun, while ensuring adherence to performance standards and supporting team growth in a high-velocity, ambiguous startup environment.
- • Gain deep exposure to dental technology and clinical workflows, build leadership expertise in CX operations within a fast-growing healthtech startup, and develop skills in process optimization, team development, and cross-functional influence that prepare you for senior leadership roles.
🎯 Requirements
- • 2+ years of frontline leadership experience in customer service, preferably in a startup or tech company.
- • 1+ years of direct people management or supervisory experience as a title manager.
- • Proven ability to manage, coach, and develop a team to drive measurable performance improvements.
- • Strong customer service background with demonstrated skill in empathizing with customers, de-escalating situations, and offering effective solutions.
- • Basic understanding of tech platforms and ability to learn new tools quickly; prior experience with Zendesk is preferred.
- • Comfort operating in ambiguous, high-velocity environments with a proactive, resourceful, and hands-on problem-solving approach.
