• The Closing Operations Specialist at Zippymh LLC plays a critical role in delivering a seamless, human-centered digital closing experience for manufactured home borrowers, ensuring one of life’s most significant financial transactions is handled with care, clarity, and confidence.
• This role directly impacts customer trust and satisfaction by guiding borrowers through complex loan documents via video call, facilitating remote online notarization, and leaving borrowers with a lasting positive impression of Zippy’s commitment to finance happiness through accessible, innovative home financing.
• Day to day, the specialist hosts digital closing ceremonies via video conferencing, warmly engaging borrowers in English and Spanish to walk them through each document, answer questions in real time, and ensure full understanding before signing.
• They conduct thorough document reviews, leveraging deep knowledge of manufactured home loan products to perform quality assurance, identify discrepancies, and send corrected documents for re-review while maintaining strict compliance and accuracy standards.
• The role involves proactive issue resolution during and after closings, coordinating with internal teams to address delays, missing information, or technical hiccups, and preparing files for smooth transition to loan servicing.
• Collaboration is key: the specialist works closely with origination, underwriting, and servicing teams to share insights, flag process bottlenecks, and contribute to continuous improvement of Zippy’s digital closing workflow.
• They take ownership of the closing experience by providing feedback on technology tools and processes, suggesting enhancements to improve efficiency and borrower clarity, and sharing best practices with peers to elevate team performance.
• The specialist must remain adaptable, managing a flexible schedule that may include evenings and weekends to accommodate borrower availability, while maintaining high levels of organization and follow-through in a fast-paced, evolving startup environment.

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years of loan closing experience in the housing market, with manufactured housing experience considered a plus
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, with ability to support Spanish-speaking borrowers throughout the closing process
• Ability to perform remote online notarizations and residency in one of the approved states: Arizona, Florida, Michigan, Missouri, Montana, New Jersey, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, or Washington
