Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • As the Cloud Business Development Manager for Commvault in the UAE and Emerging Markets, you will serve as the market-facing evangelist for the company’s cloud partnership strategy, driving visibility, influence, and revenue by positioning Commvault as the definitive leader in cloud data protection.
- • You will articulate the strategic value of data resilience to hyperscaler partners (AWS, Azure, GCP) and regional field teams, translating technical capabilities into compelling business narratives that inspire action and co-sell engagement across sovereign cloud, SaaS, and hybrid environments.
- • You will design and execute scalable co-sell motions, build repeatable joint pursuit frameworks, enable partner and field teams through training and win rooms, and track measurable outcomes such as pipeline, revenue, and partner-attach rates to ensure programmatic impact.
- • You will cultivate deep, trust-based relationships with cloud partner sales, marketing, and technical teams while acting as the connective tissue between partner organizations and Commvault’s regional sales, channel, and SaaS teams, adapting your approach to diverse EMEA micro-geographies and leadership expectations.
- • You will enable Commvault sellers and partner teams through enablement sessions, participate in technical win rooms, and create joint win stories that reinforce the co-sell value proposition and drive replication across regions.
- • Success means partners actively seek Commvault for joint pursuits, co-sell pipeline and revenue grow quarter-over-quarter with clear attribution, regional leadership views you as indispensable, your programs are adopted by peers, and you are recognized externally as a visible ambassador for Commvault’s cloud partnership vision.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of experience in cloud alliances, partner development, or strategic sales roles, preferably with direct hyperscaler experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- • Demonstrated ability to inspire and influence without direct authority—moving partners and field teams to action through vision and credibility
- • Exceptional communication and presentation skills—commanding rooms, adapting messages to audiences, and making complex concepts accessible
- • Deep understanding of cloud computing, data protection, and the evolving landscape of sovereign cloud, SaaS, and hybrid infrastructure
- • Programmatic mindset—thinking in systems, not one-off activities, and building scalable plays
- • Comfort operating across EMEA’s diverse markets, languages, and leadership styles
- • Willingness to travel extensively within the UAE and Emerging Markets (approximately 50% of time in-market)
- • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or related field; equivalent experience considered
🏖️ Benefits
- • Opportunity to shape and lead Commvault’s cloud partnership strategy in a high-growth, strategic region with direct impact on revenue and market positioning
- • Exposure to and collaboration with global hyperscaler leaders (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud) at executive and technical levels
- • Significant autonomy and creative freedom to design and scale innovative co-sell motions and partner programs
- • Regular engagement with senior leadership and cross-functional teams across Commvault’s regional and global organizations
- • Professional growth through thought leadership opportunities at partner events, conferences, and executive briefings
- • Inclusive and accessible workplace with accommodations available for candidates with disabilities or special needs
