- • Lumindigital LLC is seeking a dedicated and proactive Cloud Operations Engineer to join our dynamic Operations Center team. This pivotal role is instrumental in ensuring the stability, reliability, and performance of our cloud infrastructure and applications. You will be at the forefront of maintaining operational excellence, focusing on the critical tasks of removing toil and significantly enhancing platform visibility. As a Cloud Operations Engineer, you will be entrusted with the responsibility of meticulously monitoring our cloud environment using state-of-the-art observability tools, performing initial triage for Tier 1 incidents, and guaranteeing the swift and effective resolution or escalation of any production issues that arise.
- • Your responsibilities will extend to actively supporting our Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, ensuring seamless and efficient software delivery. You will play a key role in supporting mobile application releases, contributing to their successful deployment to our users. Furthermore, you will manage the entire lifecycle of SSL/TLS certificates, from renewal to proactive monitoring of expirations, safeguarding our systems against security vulnerabilities. Maintaining comprehensive and accurate documentation, including runbooks and standard operating procedures, is paramount to fostering knowledge sharing and ensuring operational consistency across the team. Exceptional cross-functional communication will be a cornerstone of your success, enabling you to collaborate effectively with various departments to achieve shared business objectives.
- • Reporting directly to the Operations Center Manager, the ideal candidate will embody exceptional communication skills, a strong aptitude for cross-functional collaboration, and a profound understanding of cloud infrastructure principles. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a tangible impact on our operational efficiency and platform resilience. You will be empowered to identify recurring issues and proactively implement solutions that reduce manual effort and enhance the overall stability of our platform. Your contributions will directly influence our ability to deliver high-quality services to our customers.
- • Key responsibilities include:
- • Vigilantly monitor the health and performance of our cloud infrastructure and applications using advanced observability tools. Respond promptly to alerts, ensuring efficient triage and timely resolution of all production incidents.
- • Conduct thorough Tier 1 incident triage, meticulously documenting all findings and escalating issues appropriately to the Development or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) teams, while maintaining transparent and consistent communication throughout the process.
- • Actively monitor and support CI/CD pipelines to guarantee the success of builds and deployments. Troubleshoot and coordinate the resolution of any pipeline failures to minimize disruption.
- • Provide essential support and coordination for mobile application release processes, ensuring smooth and successful deployments.
- • Diligently manage the entire SSL/TLS certificate lifecycle, including proactive monitoring of upcoming expirations and coordinating timely renewals to maintain security and compliance.
- • Proactively analyze incident patterns and alert trends to identify opportunities for improvement. Implement solutions that reduce operational toil and enhance overall platform stability and reliability.
- • Contribute significantly to automation and orchestration efforts, developing and implementing solutions that boost the efficiency, reliability, and repeatability of our operational processes.
- • Develop and maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation, including comprehensive runbooks and standard operating procedures, to facilitate knowledge sharing and ensure consistent operational practices.
- • Foster strong collaborative relationships with SRE, Development, Security, Product, and Support teams to ensure the continuous health, visibility, and alignment of our platform with overarching business goals.
- • Undertake other duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to contribute wherever needed.
