Collections Team Lead

📋 Description

• • Lead and manage a team of 2–5 Collections Associates, owning end-to-end collections operations including inbound and outbound follow-ups, payment tracking, and dispute resolution to ensure timely and accurate cash flow.
• • Drive improvements in collections efficiency, recovery rates, and turnaround time on open invoices by setting, tracking, and optimizing team performance metrics and building scalable workflows, systems, and SOPs.
• • Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Sales, and Operations to manage customer and vendor communication for payment recovery, handle escalations, and resolve complex or sensitive cases while ensuring accurate reporting of daily, weekly, and monthly collections data.
• • Join a fast-growing, high-output team at Fresh Prints, a New York-based custom apparel startup that empowers student entrepreneurs across the U.S., where ownership, thoughtful disagreement, and surfacing problems are core cultural values supported by leadership including the CEO and Finance Manager.
• • Develop expertise in financial operations, process optimization, and team leadership while contributing to the company’s ability to scale reliably with clear visibility into over $30M in annual revenue flowing across customers, Campus Managers, suppliers, and printers.
