- • As a Commercial Account Manager at LangChain, you will be the primary commercial point of contact for a portfolio of enterprise customers, responsible for driving adoption, retention, and expansion of LangChain’s AI agent platform. Your role is critical to ensuring customers realize measurable value from their investment, directly impacting net revenue retention and long-term business growth in a high-impact, fast-moving AI infrastructure company.
- • You will manage the full post-sale customer lifecycle — from onboarding and adoption to renewal negotiations and expansion — ensuring high retention rates by proactively identifying churn risks, monitoring product usage, and aligning customer needs with LangChain’s evolving product suite, including LangGraph, LangSmith, and Agent Builder.
- • You will develop and maintain accurate rolling forecasts, consistently meeting or exceeding quarterly and annual renewal and net revenue retention targets through strategic account planning, timely contract execution, and data-driven forecasting using CRM tools like Salesforce.
- • You will uncover and execute expansion opportunities by deeply understanding customer technical and business objectives, mapping them to new features and usage-based pricing models, and articulating incremental value to technical users and economic buyers alike.
- • You will build and nurture trusted, long-term relationships with key stakeholders across the customer organization — from developers and ML engineers to VPs of Engineering and CTOs — acting as a trusted advisor who translates technical capabilities into business outcomes.
- • You will serve as the voice of the customer, synthesizing feedback on product value, gaps, and outcomes to inform LangChain’s product roadmap, collaborating closely with Product, Engineering, Sales, GTM Engineering, and RevOps teams to ensure a seamless, unified post-sale experience.
- • You will lead commercial negotiations, structure renewal contracts, manage quoting and procurement processes, and ensure favorable terms that balance customer satisfaction with LangChain’s financial goals, particularly in consumption or usage-based pricing models.
- • You will operate with high autonomy in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment, leveraging your commercial acumen and technical aptitude to navigate complex, multi-stakeholder renewal cycles while contributing to LangChain’s mission of making intelligent agents ubiquitous across industries.
- • You will join a mission-driven team at a Series B-backed company ($125M raised) whose platform is trusted by 35% of the Fortune 500 and industry leaders like Replit, Coinbase, Workday, and Cloudflare — giving you the opportunity to shape how AI agent technology is adopted and scaled in real-world enterprise settings.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of experience in a quota-carrying, customer-facing role such as Account Management, Customer Success, or Renewals Manager, preferably within B2B SaaS.
- • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding retention and expansion quotas, including Gross Renewal Rate and Net Revenue Retention targets.
- • Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills, with experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder renewal cycles in technical or enterprise environments.
- • Strong technical aptitude and ability to understand and articulate the value of complex technical products; familiarity with the modern AI/LLM stack is a significant plus.
- • Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) for pipeline management, forecasting, and tracking customer health and expansion opportunities.
- • Ability to operate independently with a high degree of autonomy in a fast-paced, ambiguous, high-growth environment.
