- • As a Commercial Escrow Assistant at First American Financial Corporation, you will play a vital role in supporting the seamless execution of commercial real estate transactions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and exceptional customer service throughout the escrow process. Your contributions directly impact the efficiency and reliability of one of the nation’s most trusted title and escrow providers, helping clients navigate complex multi-property, multi-state transactions with confidence.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting in the preparation of escrow documents for both simple and complex commercial closings, accurately inputting closing statement data into internal systems, managing disbursement workflows, and following up on post-closing items to ensure timely resolution. You will serve as a key point of contact for customers, communicating regularly via phone, email, and other channels while adapting your tone and approach to meet diverse client needs and maintain a professional, empathetic demeanor.
- • You will interpret and apply various contractual agreements, title commitments, and escrow instructions to determine appropriate actions during the closing process, ensuring all parties’ obligations are met and risks are minimized. Leveraging innovative escrow technologies and digital platforms, you will help streamline workflows, reduce manual errors, and enhance the overall customer experience through faster, more transparent transaction handling.
- • Collaboration is central to this role—you will work closely with escrow officers, title examiners, lenders, real estate agents, and other stakeholders to coordinate timelines, resolve discrepancies, and ensure all documentation is complete and compliant with state and federal regulations. You’ll gain hands-on experience with industry-leading technology platforms, refine your client-facing communication skills, and strengthen your organizational and analytical abilities—all while contributing to meaningful transactions that shape communities and businesses across the nation.
