- • As an Onboarding Consultant I for xtraChef at Toast, you will serve as the primary relationship manager for restaurant customers from purchase through onboarding, ensuring successful activation and adoption of Toast’s backoffice solutions like AP Automation, Inventory, Recipe, and Bill Payment.
- • Day to day, you will leverage restaurant operations knowledge and project management skills to create and lead implementation plans for 80+ restaurants simultaneously, guide customers through milestones, provide post-activation training, and adapt onboarding materials into Mandarin for non-English speaking stakeholders.
- • You will join Toast’s customer-facing team focused on helping restaurants thrive through technology, working autonomously under an Onboarding Manager to meet aggressive activation goals while prioritizing work based on customer needs and company requirements.
- • In this role, you will develop expertise in restaurant technology implementation, strengthen cross-functional communication and influencing skills, gain deep experience in food cost management and inventory systems, and grow your ability to manage complex, high-volume customer onboarding pipelines in a fast-paced SaaS environment.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bilingual/Fluent in Mandarin and English, both written and verbal
- • 3+ years of experience in customer satisfaction and business operations, including managing long-term customer relationships (4-6 weeks or more)
- • Experience with COGS and inventory analysis in the Food & Beverage or Hospitality industries
- • Comfortable utilizing direct outreach via phone to guide customers through the implementation lifecycle
- • Success operating independently and navigating competing priorities in a constantly changing environment
- • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding goals, including backlog hygiene and high-quality customer interactions
- • Excellent communication, organizational, time management, and influencing skills

- • Competitive compensation with starting pay ranging from $55,000 to $80,000 USD based on geographic pay zone (Zone A: $70K–$80K, Zone B: $60K–$70K, Zone C: $55K–$65K)
