Full Job Description

đź“‹ Description

  • • Own the day-to-day health of the Workday platform across Core HCM, Compensation, Benefits, Time Tracking, Absence, Talent, and Payroll modules—ensuring every configuration, business process, notification, and rule is accurate, compliant, and optimized for scale.
  • • Translate complex business requirements into elegant Workday solutions: design and maintain business process frameworks, security groups, calculated fields, custom reports, dashboards, EIBs, and BIRT templates that empower leaders to make data-driven decisions in real time.
  • • Lead end-to-end testing for semi-annual Workday releases, quarterly enhancements, and ad-hoc integrations—authoring test plans, coordinating UAT with HR, Finance, and IT stakeholders, documenting defects, and driving resolution to guarantee zero-impact go-lives.
  • • Serve as the primary escalation point for tier-2 support: investigate integration failures, troubleshoot calculated-field discrepancies, resolve security access issues, and deliver concise root-cause analyses that prevent recurrence.
  • • Architect and maintain a library of self-service reports and dashboards that surface key talent metrics—headcount, turnover, compensation equity, absence trends—enabling executives and frontline managers to act quickly without waiting for manual extracts.
  • • Partner with HRIS, Payroll, and Benefits teams to refine data flows between Workday and downstream systems (401k, benefits carriers, time clocks, GL); validate inbound/outbound EIBs, PECI files, and REST/SOAP web services to ensure 100 % data integrity.
  • • Champion continuous improvement: conduct quarterly process reviews, identify automation opportunities, propose rule or workflow simplifications, and quantify ROI to gain stakeholder buy-in for enhancements that reduce manual effort and error rates.
  • • Build and maintain comprehensive configuration documentation, security matrices, and governance playbooks that satisfy SOX, SOC-2, and HIPAA audit requirements while enabling rapid onboarding of future team members.
  • • Provide hands-on training and office-hour support to HR business partners, recruiters, and managers—translating technical concepts into plain language, creating quick-reference guides, and nurturing a community of confident Workday users.
  • • Influence the multi-year Workday roadmap by gathering user feedback, benchmarking against industry best practices, and presenting data-backed recommendations to senior leadership, ensuring the platform evolves in lockstep with Ensora Health’s rapid growth.
  • • Monitor system performance and tenant utilization, partnering with Workday Customer Success to optimize business-process execution times, report runtimes, and integration throughput so the user experience remains lightning-fast as transaction volume scales.
  • • Uphold Ensora Health’s commitment to Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging by embedding equitable security access, inclusive language in notifications, and bias-mitigating logic into every configuration you touch.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience plus a minimum of 2 years hands-on configuration or administration experience in Workday HCM, with exposure to at least two additional modules (Compensation, Benefits, Time Tracking, Absence, Talent, or Payroll).
  • • Demonstrated ability to create advanced reports and dashboards using Workday Report Writer, calculated fields, and BIRT; experience supporting inbound/outbound EIBs, PECI, or Workday Studio integrations.
  • • Proven track record of participating in structured release cycles, authoring test scripts, coordinating user acceptance testing, and driving defect resolution to achieve on-time, zero-defect deployments.
  • • Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills with the ability to translate ambiguous business problems into clear technical requirements and deliver scalable, user-friendly solutions.
  • • Excellent communication and collaboration skills—adept at explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and building trust-based relationships across HR, Finance, IT, and executive teams.

🏖️ Benefits

  • • 100 % remote-first culture—work from anywhere in Alabama (or beyond) with a flexible schedule that supports work-life harmony and eliminates commuting stress.
  • • Competitive compensation package plus annual performance bonus and equity opportunities, ensuring you share directly in Ensora Health’s continued growth and success.
  • • Comprehensive health, dental, vision, and mental-wellness coverage starting day one, plus generous PTO, volunteer days, and company-wide recharge weeks to keep you at your best.
  • • Annual professional-development stipend and paid Workday certification paths, empowering you to deepen your expertise and stay ahead of the curve in the ever-evolving HR tech landscape.
