- • The Sr. Director of Workday & Financial Systems leads the enterprise Workday Financials and Professional Services Automation (PSA) platform for Onterris, an $800M+ publicly traded, highly acquisitive organization, balancing enterprise delivery leadership, financial accounting acumen, and deep Workday functional fluency to guide a specialized systems team through platform optimization, M&A integration, and operating model maturity.
- • Day to day, the role involves leading and developing a specialized Workday Financials and PSA team, establishing scalable delivery models, providing technical and functional leadership across projects and operations, managing vendors and partners, owning platform strategy and health, overseeing release cycles and regression testing, ensuring alignment with enterprise integration and security standards, contributing to multi-year technology roadmaps, leading M&A integration runbooks, serving as a senior Workday subject matter expert, maintaining deep understanding of Workday data models, leading integrations and data onboarding for acquisitions, championing advanced analytics and intelligent automation initiatives, partnering with Finance leadership on core processes like close, reporting, budgeting, and planning, driving automation of accounting-related processes, owning bank integrations and controls, building and maintaining Workday data models for accurate analysis, providing executive oversight for Workday PSA, ensuring alignment between PSA, Financials, and revenue recognition, collaborating with Salesforce and Commercial Systems to improve end-to-end contract-to-cash lifecycle, reducing manual handoffs across quoting, projects, billing, and revenue workflows, and evaluating machine learning and intelligent automation capabilities for Finance efficiency.

- • In this role, the person can learn and achieve mastery in enterprise financial systems leadership at scale, deepen expertise in Workday Financials and PSA within a high-growth, acquisitive public company environment, drive innovation through intelligent automation and analytics in finance functions, shape SOX-compliant governance frameworks, influence enterprise technology roadmaps spanning Workday, Salesforce, Snowflake, and adjacent platforms, and develop strategic partnership skills with CFO, Controller, FP&A, Treasury, and Finance Operations leaders while contributing to a mission-driven organization focused on environmental progress.
🎯 Requirements
- • 8+ years of experience leading enterprise financial systems, including Workday Financials and/or PSA
- • 5+ years in a leadership role managing ERP or financial systems teams
- • Strong financial accounting knowledge with 5+ years supporting core accounting processes (record-to-report, intercompany, close)
- • Experience operating in a publicly traded company with SOX and audit requirements
- • Demonstrated ability to partner with senior Finance leadership as a trusted advisor
- • Experience leading platform transformations, optimizations, or new implementations
- • Experience supporting highly acquisitive environments
