  • • As a Customer Onboarding Manager at Practice Better, you will play a pivotal role in guiding new health and wellness practitioners through their initial experience with the platform, ensuring they achieve early value and long-term success from day one. This role is critical to reducing time-to-value, increasing trial-to-paid conversion, and minimizing early churn by delivering personalized, high-touch onboarding that aligns with each customer’s unique goals and workflows.
  • • You will own end-to-end 1:1 onboarding for new customers, managing a book of engagements while balancing personalized guidance with process efficiency. Your responsibilities include guiding customers through platform setup, configuration, and core workflows; facilitating sessions to help them reach their first “aha” moments; collaborating with Sales, Customer Success, and Support teams for seamless handoffs; identifying recurring onboarding challenges to inform product and process improvements; contributing to onboarding documentation and templates; and tracking milestone completion to ensure customers are set up for sustained success. You will also occasionally support 1:many initiatives such as webinars, group sessions, or office hours during peak periods.

  • • In this role, you will develop deep expertise in SaaS onboarding, customer lifecycle management, and health-tech workflows while honing your facilitation, consultative communication, and process improvement skills. You’ll have the opportunity to influence the scalability of onboarding programs, contribute to customer education resources, and grow into broader Customer Success or Implementation leadership paths as the company continues to expand its whole-practice care offering.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 3-5 years of experience in Customer Support, Customer Onboarding, Customer Success, Implementation, or a similar customer-facing role in a SaaS or product-led growth (PLG) environment
  • • Strong facilitation and communication skills, with comfort leading 1:1 sessions and presenting to small groups
  • • Customer-centric mindset with the ability to translate customer goals into clear, actionable onboarding plans
  • • Organized and detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple onboarding engagements simultaneously
  • • Comfortable working within defined processes while actively contributing ideas to improve them
  • • Clear, empathetic communicator who adapts effectively to diverse customer needs and learning styles
  • • Experience using modern customer success tools such as HubSpot, Notion, Fathom, or similar CS platforms
