- • Lead new business development for Kpler’s maritime and shipping solutions across South East Asia, identifying and targeting high-potential clients in the commodities and energy sectors.
- • Build and manage a pipeline of prospects through direct outreach, market research, and industry networking to drive revenue growth in a competitive and dynamic market.
- • Conduct client presentations and product demonstrations to articulate the value of Kpler’s data-driven intelligence platform in optimizing maritime trade decision-making.
- • Collaborate with internal teams including data analysts, product, and customer success to tailor solutions that meet client-specific needs and drive adoption of Kpler’s technology.
- • Maintain and expand relationships with existing clients through renewals, upsells, and cross-sells, ensuring high retention and increased lifetime value.
- • Stay ahead of market trends in global maritime trade, regulatory changes, and competitor activity to inform sales strategy and client conversations.
- • Set and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets aligned with Kpler’s regional growth objectives for the South East Asia market.
- • Represent Kpler at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to enhance brand visibility and generate qualified leads in the maritime sector.
- • Provide regular sales forecasts and pipeline updates to regional leadership, using data to guide strategic decisions and resource allocation.
- • Work closely with the APAC Sales team to share best practices, refine sales playbooks, and scale successful approaches across the region.
- • Act as a trusted advisor to clients by translating complex maritime data into clear, actionable business insights that drive operational efficiency and competitive advantage.
- • Ensure all client interactions adhere to Kpler’s standards of integrity, transparency, and client-centric service.
- • Contribute to the continuous improvement of sales tools, collateral, and CRM processes to enhance team productivity and client engagement.
🎯 Requirements
- • Proven track record in B2B sales, specifically within maritime, shipping, logistics, or commodities industries
- • Experience selling SaaS, data analytics, or technology solutions to enterprise clients
- • Deep understanding of global maritime trade flows, vessel tracking, or supply chain data
- • Fluency in English; additional Southeast Asian language proficiency is a strong advantage
