📋 Description

• Own the full communications lifecycle for Twelve Labs in Korea, from strategic story planning and content creation to media coverage measurement and impact analysis.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Marketing, and Tech teams to craft compelling narratives around Twelve Labs’ multimodal video AI technology tailored for Korean and APAC audiences.
• Develop and execute PR strategy for Korea, managing all local communication channels to maximize brand visibility and thought leadership.
• Plan and produce press releases, in-depth feature stories, executive interview scripts, video storyboards, and presentation materials across multiple formats.
• Drive agenda-based media outreach targeting key Korean tech, business, and government media outlets with measurable outcomes.
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with Korea’s public sector, including government ministries, public agencies, and industry associations.
• Identify and surface actionable opportunities by monitoring policy trends, AI-related procurement cycles, and competitive movements within Korea’s technology landscape.
• Synthesize geopolitical, regulatory, and market intelligence on AI and video understanding into clear briefs for internal leadership and technical teams.
• Serve as the primary strategic bridge between Twelve Labs and key stakeholders in Korea’s AI ecosystem, including public sector decision-makers and industry consortia.
• Design and implement media engagement strategies that position Twelve Labs’ executives as credible voices in the global AI conversation.
• Produce high-quality written content, interview scripts, and multimedia story materials aligned with corporate messaging and technical accuracy.
• Proactively gather intelligence on Korea’s Sovereign AI narrative, government technology initiatives, and emerging regulatory frameworks affecting AI deployment.
• Work independently to connect cross-functional internal teams with external opportunities, events, and conversations relevant to Twelve Labs’ strategic growth in APAC.
• Adapt communication approaches to resonate with Korea’s unique cultural, political, and technological context while aligning with global corporate standards.
• Measure, report, and optimize the impact of all communications activities using clear metrics tied to visibility, stakeholder engagement, and brand perception.
• Maintain a deep understanding of Twelve Labs’ multimodal AI technology to accurately represent its capabilities to journalists, government officials, and industry partners.
• Represent Twelve Labs at select Korean industry events, policy forums, and technology summits as a key communication lead.
• Coordinate with global communications teams to ensure alignment between Korea-specific initiatives and global messaging strategy.
• Ensure all external communications comply with local regulations and reflect Twelve Labs’ commitment to ethical and transparent AI innovation.

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in PR/communications, government/external relations, or strategic communications
• Experience building and maintaining relationships with government entities, industry partners, or public sector stakeholders
• Strong story planning and execution skills
• Excellent Korean communication skills (written and verbal) with professional English proficiency
• Ability to work independently, gather intelligence proactively, and connect dots across stakeholders
• Experience in fast-paced, high-growth environments
