- • As a Community & Events Manager at Collective Technologies, Inc., you will be the driving force behind creating meaningful, in-person and virtual experiences that strengthen the bond between self-employed professionals and the Collective platform, directly contributing to member retention, product innovation, and brand advocacy by turning real-world interactions into actionable insights and compelling storytelling.
- • You will own the end-to-end execution of Collective’s member dinner series across the U.S., including venue sourcing, RSVP management, logistics coordination, and on-site hosting, while also representing the company at conferences and trade shows as the energetic, welcoming face of the brand in rooms filled with our most valued members.
- • You will keep the online community vibrant by designing and facilitating engaging programming such as pitch competitions, expert series, and structured feedback sessions through the Member Innovation Council, ensuring member voices are heard and directly influence product and service improvements in collaboration with the Product team.
- • You will act as a content creator on the road, capturing photos, short videos, quotes, and member stories from events and dinners, then partnering with marketing to transform these moments into social content, case studies, and member spotlights that amplify Collective’s impact and reach.
- • You will thrive in a fast-paced, ownership-driven environment where no two weeks are the same, leveraging your natural ability to connect with people, your exceptional organizational skills, and your comfort with frequent travel to juggle multiple priorities while maintaining high energy and attention to detail that elevates every member experience.
- • You will grow your expertise in community building, event ROI measurement, and AI-assisted tracking of engagement metrics, while deepening your understanding of the self-employed workforce and gaining hands-on experience in turning grassroots community energy into scalable business insights and brand loyalty.
🎯 Requirements
- • Proven ability to plan and execute in-person events from concept to completion, including venue selection, logistics, vendor coordination, and on-site hosting, with experience managing RSVPs and maximizing attendance.
- • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both in-person and in writing, with a natural talent for making people feel welcome, energized, and connected in social settings.
- • Highly organized and detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple concurrent projects and priorities without dropping the ball, especially in fast-moving, travel-intensive environments.
- • Comfortable with frequent domestic travel (several times per month) and enthusiastic about being on the road to engage with members in new cities across the U.S.
- • Experience creating and curating visual and narrative content (photos, short videos, quotes) from events, with an eye for aesthetics and storytelling that resonates on social media and marketing channels.
- • Familiarity with online community platforms (e.g., Discord, Slack, subreddits) and experience facilitating discussions, programming, or feedback loops that drive engagement and member retention.
🏖️ Benefits
- • Remote-friendly work environment with flexibility to work from anywhere in the U.S., complemented by quarterly virtual team events and an annual in-person summit to maintain strong team connection.
- • Comprehensive health coverage including 100% paid medical, dental, and vision for employees, and 75% coverage for dependents, plus a $200 quarterly wellness reimbursement to support personal well-being.
- • Generous time off policy featuring flexible PTO and 14 company holidays, along with 16 weeks of fully paid parental leave to support major life events.
- • Financial wellness support through a 401k retirement plan, equity ownership opportunities, and commuter or lunch stipends for hybrid employees in the Bay Area.
- • Access to professional growth opportunities through direct collaboration with Product, Marketing, and Sales teams, and the chance to influence product development via member feedback sessions.
