Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • The Company Operations Lead at Dropbox serves as a critical bridge between the Office of the CEO and business units, operationalizing company-wide rhythms with rigor, clarity, and consistency to drive better results through attention to operational details.
- • Day to day, the role involves partnering with Chiefs of Staff and embedded operational teams to strengthen operating rhythms, acting as "glue" to identify inefficiencies and build scalable workflows, upholding quality bars for executive deliverables, distilling complex processes into accessible guidance, enabling employees through training and support, piloting improvements to operating mechanisms, leading ad hoc projects for CEO priorities, representing the CEO’s vision cross-functionally, and handling sensitive information with discretion in fast-moving environments.
- • Dropbox is an operationally heavy company that believes sweating the details of how work gets done drives better results; this role sits at the center of that philosophy, working within a culture that values systems thinking, scrappiness, and impact in complex, evolving environments.
- • The person in this role can learn to navigate ambiguity at the highest levels of the organization, build trusted relationships with executive leaders, shape high-impact operational solutions from scratch, and develop expertise in scaling company-wide processes while gaining exposure to strategic planning, board processes, and cross-functional leadership.
🎯 Requirements
- • 8+ years of experience in operations, program management, business operations, product operations, consulting, or similar roles in complex, cross-functional environments
- • Demonstrated ability to thrive in ambiguity and independently define scope where it does not yet exist
- • Proven experience building, improving, or scaling operational systems, processes, or program management frameworks
- • Strong attention to detail paired with the judgment to know where rigor matters most
- • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience synthesizing complex information into clear, executive-ready outputs and creating simple, concise resources accessible to all employees
- • High degree of ownership and independence; able to navigate ambiguity, influence without authority, and drive work to completion across organizational boundaries
🏖️ Benefits
- • Competitive Canada pay range of $128,400 — $173,700 CAD
- • Opportunity to work remotely from select locations in Canada
- • Role at a leading SaaS company (Dropbox) with exposure to executive-level operations and strategic initiatives
- • Chance to drive meaningful impact by improving company-wide operating rhythms and reducing operational overhead
