📋 Description
- • As a Virtual EAP Counselor, you will provide short-term counseling via phone or video to employees and their families through TELUS Health’s Employee Assistance Program, supporting mental, physical, and financial well-being in alignment with the company’s mission to create the healthiest workplaces globally.
- • You will conduct clinical sessions based on EAP modalities, maintain accurate clinical documentation using provided templates, and manage follow-up for diverse client cases while working independently as a self-employed contractor according to your availability.
- • You will join a purpose-driven, people-first team at TELUS Health that leverages innovative technology to improve health outcomes across populations, fostering inclusion, equity, and innovation in a digital-first environment.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in brief, solution-focused counseling, strengthen crisis intervention skills, expand your knowledge of community resources, and contribute meaningfully to employee well-being while enjoying professional autonomy and flexibility.
🎯 Requirements
- • Master’s degree in counseling, psychology, or social work
- • Active membership in good standing with the OPQ, OTSTCFQ, or OPSQ
- • Minimum of five years of post-master’s clinical experience
- • Ability to establish short-term goals and apply a solution-focused therapeutic approach
- • Demonstrated capacity to manage high-risk or crisis situations effectively
- • Strong familiarity with community resources and referral networks
