📋 Description

• As a Consultant or Senior Consultant in Healthcare Strategy & Innovation at Guidehouse, you will play a pivotal role in helping healthcare payer and provider organizations navigate complex industry challenges, drive strategic transformation, and achieve sustainable growth through data-driven insights and innovative solutions.
• You will collaborate with C-suite executives and business leaders to support strategic planning, business model innovation, operating model redesign, cost reduction initiatives (including ZBx), M&A activity, service line and product strategy, and enterprise-wide transformation efforts that position clients for resilience and long-term value creation.
• Day to day, you will conduct rigorous data analysis and insights generation using tools like PowerBI, Tableau, and Alteryx to inform strategic recommendations; support project execution across workstreams; develop high-impact client deliverables such as presentations, business cases, and financial models; engage with stakeholders to communicate findings and drive alignment; and continuously build your expertise through learning and skill development in healthcare strategy and emerging technologies.
• You will contribute to project teams by synthesizing complex information, identifying patterns, and translating analytical findings into actionable strategies that help clients improve performance, reduce costs, enhance competitive positioning, and innovate in rapidly evolving healthcare markets.
• Guidehouse’s Strategy & Transformation Consulting practice serves leading commercial and public sector organizations across healthcare, financial services, energy, infrastructure, and national security, offering a platform to work on high-stakes, transformative initiatives with tangible impact on industry evolution and community well-being.

• In this role, you will develop deep expertise in healthcare strategy consulting, strengthen your analytical and financial modeling capabilities, refine your communication and stakeholder engagement skills, and gain exposure to cutting-edge topics such as AI, cloud computing, and machine learning as they apply to healthcare innovation—positioning you for advancement into leadership roles within Guidehouse or the broader healthcare consulting industry.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required
• Minimum of 2+ years of consulting experience (for Consultant) or 5+ years of consulting or relevant work experience (for Senior Consultant) at a top-tier or boutique firm
• Proven track record of creative problem-solving, self-motivation, and analytical prowess
• Demonstrated excellence in financial and quantitative analysis, including experience in business case development and financial modeling
• Proficiency in PowerBI, Tableau, and/or Alteryx for data visualization and analysis
• Strong written and oral communication skills to effectively convey complex ideas to diverse audiences
• Entrepreneurial mindset and passion for contributing to the growth of Guidehouse’s healthcare practice
• Ability and willingness to travel up to 75% as needed to support client engagements
