  • • As a Consumable Sales professional for Agilent Technologies in Chongqing, you will drive revenue growth by selling critical laboratory consumables such as chromatography columns, sample preparation products, and related supplies to research, industrial, and clinical laboratories across your assigned territory. Your work directly supports scientific discovery and quality control processes by ensuring customers have reliable access to high-performance Agilent consumables essential for accurate analytical results.
  • • You will proactively engage with existing and prospective customers to understand their analytical workflows, identify unmet needs, and tailor solutions that align with their research or production goals. This includes executing territory-specific sales plans, conducting product demonstrations, providing technical guidance on consumable selection and usage, and managing the full sales cycle from lead generation to order fulfillment and post-sale support.
  • • A key focus will be expanding market penetration by acquiring new customers while deepening relationships with key accounts through consultative selling, value-based discussions, and consistent follow-up. You will analyze market trends, monitor competitor activity, and uncover opportunities in emerging sectors such as environmental testing, food safety, and pharmaceutical development to grow your pipeline.
  • • You will set and achieve measurable sales targets by developing strategic account plans, prioritizing high-potential opportunities, and leveraging Agilent’s portfolio of innovative consumables. Success will be measured by your ability to consistently meet or exceed quota, improve customer retention rates, and contribute to regional revenue objectives through disciplined execution and adaptive selling techniques.
  • • You will collaborate closely with Agilent’s technical application specialists, marketing teams, and customer service partners to ensure seamless customer experiences and leverage internal expertise when addressing complex technical inquiries or configuring optimal consumable solutions for specialized applications.
  • • Operating with a high degree of autonomy, you will manage your time and territory effectively, utilizing CRM tools to track activities, forecast accurately, and maintain detailed records of customer interactions, all while adhering to Agilent’s sales processes, compliance standards, and ethical guidelines.
  • • The Chongqing-based sales team is part of Agilent’s broader China sales organization, supporting a culture of innovation, customer obsession, and scientific excellence. You will join a motivated group of professionals dedicated to advancing laboratory productivity and enabling breakthroughs in life sciences, diagnostics, and chemical analysis through trusted partnerships and superior product performance.
  • • In this role, you will develop deep expertise in analytical chemistry consumables, refine advanced B2B sales techniques in a technical marketplace, and strengthen your ability to translate complex scientific value into compelling business propositions—skills that are highly transferable and valued across global scientific and industrial sectors.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related scientific discipline.
  • • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with GC and/or LC systems, or proven sales experience in analytical instrument consumables, chromatography columns, or laboratory supplies.
  • • Strong verbal and written communication skills in both Mandarin and English, with the ability to convey technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
  • • Demonstrated creativity, results-driven mindset, and ability to work independently while contributing effectively to team goals.
  • • Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% of the time to customer sites, trade shows, and regional meetings within the Chongqing territory and beyond.
