📋 Description
- • Watershed Technology, Inc. is at the forefront of the sustainability movement, providing an enterprise platform that empowers leading companies like Airbnb, Carlyle Group, FedEx, Visa, and Dr. Martens to effectively manage their climate and ESG data. We are dedicated to enabling businesses to produce audit-ready metrics for both voluntary and regulatory reporting, including the complex CSRD requirements, and crucially, to drive tangible decarbonization efforts. As a mission-driven startup, we are rapidly expanding and seeking passionate, hard-working individuals who are eager to contribute to shaping the culture and success of our growing team. Our global presence spans offices in San Francisco, New York, Denver, London, Paris, Berlin, Sydney, and Mexico City, complemented by a robust remote workforce across the US and Europe.
- • We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Contract Business Recruiter to join our team for a 6-month engagement. This pivotal role will be instrumental in supporting our G&A (General and Administrative) and Customer-facing teams, which encompass critical functions such as finance, legal, people operations, and customer success. The primary objective of this position is to fuel our current hiring surge by cultivating robust partnerships with key leaders across these departments. You will be responsible for identifying, attracting, and securing top-tier talent that aligns with Watershed's strategic objectives and cultural values.
- • This role demands a proactive approach to talent acquisition, focusing on driving alignment and shaping talent strategies in close collaboration with business leaders and stakeholders. Your contributions will directly impact our ability to build the foundational teams necessary for Watershed's continued success and the realization of our ambitious vision. We firmly believe that the caliber of our people is the ultimate determinant of our success, and this role plays a direct part in achieving our mission.
- • The ideal candidate will possess an exceptional eye for talent, a proven ability to articulate and share a compelling vision that is both mission-driven and business-focused, a strong command of recruiting data and analytics, and an unwavering passion for building high-performing teams. You should be adept at embedding yourself within the teams you support, acting as a consultative recruiter who consistently prioritizes and upholds an exceptional candidate experience. In our fast-paced and constantly evolving environment, your day-to-day responsibilities will include comprehensive stakeholder management, proactive candidate sourcing across various channels, managing the full recruitment lifecycle for assigned roles, and contributing to project-based initiatives aimed at scaling our talent function.
- • Key responsibilities will include developing and executing innovative sourcing strategies to identify passive and active candidates for G&A and Customer roles. You will conduct thorough candidate screening, including initial interviews and assessments, to evaluate qualifications, cultural fit, and motivation. Building and maintaining strong relationships with hiring managers will be paramount, ensuring a deep understanding of their team's needs and strategic hiring goals. You will manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from job posting and candidate engagement to offer negotiation and onboarding coordination, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for all candidates.
- • Furthermore, you will contribute to refining and optimizing our recruitment processes and tools, identifying areas for improvement to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. This includes leveraging recruiting metrics and data to inform strategy, track progress, and report on key performance indicators to stakeholders. You will also play a role in employer branding initiatives, helping to articulate the unique value proposition of working at Watershed to attract top talent. Maintaining a high volume of requisitions while ensuring quality and speed will be a core aspect of this role, always with a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in all hiring practices.
- • This contract position is based in San Francisco and requires a commitment to working from the office four days per week. We are looking for someone who can quickly ramp up, possesses excellent selling and closing skills, and demonstrates outstanding verbal and written communication abilities. The ideal candidate is highly organized, systematic, and efficient, thriving in a high-volume environment without ever compromising the candidate experience. A genuine passion for addressing climate change and an excitement for contributing to this critical mission within a fast-paced startup setting are essential. Prior experience working at fast-growing companies and a comfort level with ambiguity are highly valued.
