- • The Contract Development Specialist supports the development, administration, and ongoing governance of large-scale public sector contracts, playing a critical role in ensuring compliance, accuracy, and consistency in contract execution for SHI International Corp., a $16B global IT solutions provider and the largest minority- and woman-owned enterprise in the U.S.
- • Day to day, the role involves assisting with contract administration, tracking obligations and approvals, maintaining documentation and records, supporting third-party onboarding, and helping develop repeatable administrative processes while identifying gaps and proposing solutions.
- • The role operates within SHI’s Contract & Business Development team, contributing to a culture of diversity, continuous growth, and employee well-being, backed by world-class facilities and technology to support remote or office-based work.
- • The person in this role will develop expertise in public sector contract management, strengthen analytical and organizational skills, gain experience with Microsoft Office Suite and contract lifecycle processes, and build a foundation for advancement in contract administration, business development, or operations within a stable, growing enterprise.
🎯 Requirements
- • Completed Bachelor’s Degree
- • 1-3 years of experience in sales (inside/outside), partner/vendor support, accounting, purchasing, or hardware/software roles with customer/vendor interaction
- • 1-3 years of experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Track Changes, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint)
- • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify errors or inconsistencies in documentation
- • Effective time management and task prioritization skills
- • Ability to communicate clearly in both written and oral formats
