• • As a Senior Director Analyst within Gartner’s Business & Technology Insights practice, you will serve as a pivotal thought leader, shaping critical insights, market predictions, and best practices for a global clientele of world-leading organizations.
• • You will be a credible and influential voice in the global market, producing pragmatic and provocative insights designed to propel Gartner clients toward their key business objectives and strategic goals.
• • This role places you at the forefront of advising General Counsel, legal operations leaders, and other legal and compliance executives on the evolving landscape of contracts management and Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) technologies.
• • You will delve into leading and emerging technologies, vendor landscapes, market trends, and best practices that define the CLM space.
• • This position offers a significant opportunity to expand coverage within Gartner’s Corporate Assurance Practice, requiring an entrepreneurial, self-motivated, and ideas-driven individual to guide clients through complex challenges.
• • Your primary responsibility will be to create innovative, thought-provoking, and highly leveraged must-have insights for senior legal and compliance leaders.
• • You will provide expert guidance on contracts management process design, optimal role definitions across Legal, Compliance, Procurement, and Supply Chain, and effective strategies for assessing and selecting CLM technology.
• • A key focus will be on the application of Generative AI (GenAI) and Agentic AI use cases within contracts management, and how to seamlessly integrate CLM investments into the broader legal technology ecosystem.
• • You will maintain a forward-looking perspective, staying ahead of market trends and developments by continuously monitoring the broader technology and services market related to CLM, intake and triage, contract analytics, and adjacent markets.
• • This involves proactive collaboration with internal experts and learning from the best practices of Gartner's diverse client base.
• • You will work collaboratively with peers and subject matter experts across various teams, including Legal, Supply Chain, and IT Procurement, to deeply understand client challenges, analyze current market dynamics, and evaluate vendors.
• • A core function is to establish and maintain shared, consistent thought leadership and strategic positions on relevant issues within the CLM domain.
• • You will conduct in-depth analysis to pinpoint the root causes of client challenges, reframing complex issues to drive strategic decision-making and forward momentum.
• • Your role involves rigorous research, analysis, and prediction of market trends and shifts, translating these into actionable insights for both clients and technology vendors.
