• • As a Director Analyst within Gartner’s Business & Technology Insights practice, you will be a pivotal thought leader, shaping critical insights, market predictions, and best practices for a global clientele of leading organizations.
• • You will serve as an insights leader, wielding a credible voice in the global market to produce pragmatic and provocative analyses that empower Gartner clients to achieve their key business objectives.
• • Your role will involve acting as a trusted advisor, engaging with clients through virtual meetings, sales support visits, and Gartner events to dissect complex challenges and deliver actionable, innovative solutions.
• • Specifically, within Gartner’s Corporate Assurance Practice, you will focus on advising General Counsel, legal operations leaders, and other legal and compliance executives on the forefront of contracts management and Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) technologies, vendor landscapes, market trends, and best practices.
• • This position represents a significant expansion of our practice's coverage, seeking an entrepreneurial, self-motivated, and ideas-driven individual to guide clients through the intricacies of contracts management.
• • Your primary responsibility will be to create highly leveraged, thought-provoking insights and best practices for legal and compliance leaders, covering areas such as contracts management process design, defining roles and responsibilities across Legal, Compliance, Procurement, and Supply Chain, assessing and selecting CLM technology, identifying top Generative AI (GenAI) and Agentic AI use cases for contracts management, and integrating CLM investments into the broader legal technology ecosystem.
• • You will be expected to maintain a cutting-edge understanding of trends and developments in the CLM, intake and triage, contract analytics, and related technology markets, fostering partnerships with internal experts and learning from client best practices.
• • Collaboration will be key, working closely with peers and experts across various teams, including Legal, Supply Chain, and IT Procurement, to understand client challenges, analyze market dynamics, evaluate vendors, and establish consistent thought leadership.
• • You will conduct in-depth analysis to pinpoint the root causes of client challenges, reframing issues to drive strategic progress and provide clients and vendors with actionable insights derived from market trend analysis and predictions.
• • Direct client engagement will involve providing expert advice on contracts management and CLM technologies through virtual or in-person interactions, as well as offering crucial sales support by acting as the voice of the market to research teams and driving client engagement to help them achieve their critical business priorities.
• • A significant part of the role includes providing high-quality peer review on research content, establishing credibility as an industry expert to represent Gartner's insights, methodology, and strategy.
• • You will actively contribute to innovation and ideation discussions, collaborating effectively with peers within the insights community and identifying opportunities for research process improvements or the development of new processes to enhance service delivery.
