- • Support the full contract portfolio lifecycle by drafting modifications, extensions, amendments, notices, and preliminary agreement documents in alignment with FoundationCCC’s Contracts Policy, EPS Procurement & Contracting Policy, and Legal Department guidance.
- • Provide administrative and contract support including proofreading, formatting, organizing legal and contract files, filing, preparing correspondence, and scheduling appointments.
- • Collaborate with Operations and Business Systems teams to establish data entry standards, ensure compliance with data retention requirements, maintain high data quality, optimize Salesforce reporting capabilities, and identify process improvements.
- • Ensure supplier provisions and contractual obligations comply with internal policies and legal standards across all contract types managed by the Enterprise & Procurement Services department.
- • Work closely with Legal Operations and Contracts departments to maintain alignment on contract governance, risk management, and information governance practices.
- • Manage document collection and administrative workflows to support contract execution and compliance across a high-volume contract environment.
- • Apply strategic, creative, and proactive thinking to anticipate potential contract risks, analyze complex situations, and develop effective solutions while communicating clearly with internal stakeholders.
- • Maintain accurate and up-to-date contract records and documentation to support audit readiness and operational transparency.
- • Contribute to a mission-driven culture focused on equity, innovation, and impact by supporting the Foundation’s goal of enhancing resources and pathways for California Community Colleges.
- • Embrace a remote-first work environment with full virtual collaboration, while operating within the legal and operational boundaries of California residency requirements.
- • Engage with cross-functional teams including Legal, Operations, and Business Systems to streamline contract processes and improve efficiency across procurement and contracting functions.
- • Demonstrate strong attention to detail in drafting, reviewing, and finalizing contractual documents to ensure legal accuracy and organizational compliance.
- • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance contract management systems, workflows, and reporting tools within Salesforce and other platforms.
- • Uphold the Foundation’s values of collaboration, entrepreneurship, and public service while operating at the intersection of non-profit mission, entrepreneurial agility, and state agency scale.
- • Serve as a key point of contact for internal clients seeking contract guidance, ensuring high-quality customer service and timely resolution of contract-related inquiries.
- • Maintain awareness of evolving legal and regulatory requirements impacting education and non-profit procurement in California.
- • Contribute to a culture that values expertise in higher education, business operations, philanthropy, and technology to drive organizational success.
