- • The Contract Senior Talent Acquisition Partner – AI / Machine Learning at Iambic Therapeutics plays a critical role in advancing the company’s mission to deliver better medicines through AI-driven discovery by securing top technical talent essential to building and scaling its innovative platform. This position directly impacts the speed and quality of hiring for machine learning, artificial intelligence, and software engineering roles that are central to Iambic’s drug development pipeline, ensuring the company can maintain its competitive edge in biotech innovation.
- • In this role, you will manage full-cycle recruiting for technical positions, including conducting intake meetings with hiring managers, sourcing candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter and other channels, screening resumes, coordinating interviews, supporting offer development and negotiation, and closing hires—all while maintaining a positive candidate experience and ensuring compliance with internal processes and ATS standards in Ashby.
- • You will partner closely with hiring managers and the Talent Acquisition lead within HR to understand role priorities, define candidate profiles, and align recruiting strategies with business needs and approved hiring plans, providing regular updates and proactive communication throughout the search lifecycle.
- • You will build and maintain robust talent pipelines of both active and passive candidates, leveraging referrals, networking, targeted outreach, and talent market intelligence tools to identify high-quality individuals in competitive AI, ML, and engineering markets.
- • You will ensure accurate and compliant candidate records are maintained in the Ashby applicant tracking system, upholding data integrity and recruiting compliance standards while representing Iambic Therapeutics professionally in all candidate, vendor, and external interactions.
- • You will support offer development and negotiation in collaboration with HR and hiring managers, following established guidelines to ensure consistency, fairness, and alignment with compensation policies.
- • You will deliver a professional and consistent candidate experience at every stage of the recruiting lifecycle, from initial outreach to onboarding, reinforcing Iambic’s employer brand as an innovative and inclusive leader in AI-powered drug discovery.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- • 6+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience with a strong focus on technical recruiting, particularly in machine learning, AI research, or software engineering
- • Proven experience recruiting for scientific, technical, or specialized roles in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent searches while maintaining strong relationships with hiring managers and candidates
- • Strong consultative partnership skills with the ability to influence and guide hiring managers on role requirements and candidate profiles
- • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including handling sensitive and confidential information with discretion
- • Solid understanding of recruiting compliance standards and best practices
- • Required experience with LinkedIn Recruiter; familiarity with talent market intelligence tools is a plus
- • Strong preference for experience using the Ashby applicant tracking system
